PETTING ELEPHANTS AND PICKING TEA IN SRI LANKA

The next day you'll head to a tea plantation in Nuwara Eliya, a city founded in the British colonial era. You party will be given a tour of the immense domain and via a fun contest you'll discover who is the best tea picker. You'll spend the night in the magnificent Grand Hotel, once the the British Governor's residence.
The next day you'll be ready for a morning of rafting at the spectacular location where the iconic film 'The Bridge on the River Kwai' was filmed in 1956. After sunset you'll enjoy a seafood barbecue at your hotel, which also boasts a spa.
The next day, those who are interested can discover one of the beautiful uninhabited islands in the region by boat. You'll conclude your trip with a cricket initiation and a free afternoon on the beach. You'll board the plane home completely rested and totally impressed.
